Participate in a Study

We are currently enrolling in the following studies:

Movement and Autism

Interested in participating in a study? We are currently recruiting young adults age 18-25 with and without autism for our study investigating motor function in autism. Participation involves motor testing at the Florida Gym, MRI scan of the brain at UF McKnight Brain Institute, and cognitive assessments. For more information or to see if you are eligible, please contact dnnl@peds.ufl.edu.

Toward Healthy Aging in Autism

Healthy Aging in Autism study will investigate differences in health, aging and well-being during adulthood in autistic and neurotypical adults. Aging – growing older – is something we all do. It is important to understand what makes staying healthy when growing older possible for some adults and difficult for other adults. The current study will track physical and mental health, functioning, cognitive ability, and brain structure/function of participants over time. We hope that understanding differences in aging will help improve long-term health and well-being of autistic and other adults.

We are now recruiting autistic and non-autistic adults, age 20+ to participate in our research study on aging in autism. Please see our study flyer for more information. If you have questions, or would like to participate, please contact us at dnnl@peds.ufl.edu or 352-273-5295. Click here for more information.
